K.A. Yarborough was born and raised in Southern California, and now lives on California’s central cost with her three cats, honeybee, firefly, and cricket. She got her bachelors and teaching degree at California state university long beach. she loves to read, go to the beach, swim, walk, and hang out in coffee houses

Although she’s a self-proclaimed scaredy-cat, she’s had a long-time obsession with vampires since she first saw rutger hauer as lothos in the original ‘buffy the vampire slayer’ movie in middle school. She’s been writing urban fantasy in one form or another ever since, along with pirate romances, paranormal, and whatever makes a good story.
